Groundwork Merseyside offer environmental consultancy services to businesses on Merseyside, including Halton. We currently deliver the ENWORKS funded business support programme, designed to help businesses on Merseyside to access FREE support to help improve their use of resources and to identify cost saving opportunities.

Cost savings are found via the efficient use of key areas - energy, water, waste, raw materials and fuel consumption and to date, our FREE waste / energy audit support has helped to identify £7.13 million worth of cost savings for over 300 businesses across Merseyside - yours could be next.

As part of the programme we can also review environmental policies and for particular projects, we can provide expert consultancy – FREE of charge.

Further to the consultancy support and advice, in order to improve environmental performance throughout an organisation, it is essential that staff possess the right skills for the job. That is why the ENWORKS programme provides *FREE Waste Awareness and Environmental Awareness training to those companies who sign up to the programme.

In addition, an important element of the ENWORKS programme is to encourage businesses to not only adopt responsible practice in an environmental sense, but also within the marketplace, community and workplace. A key strand to this support is to help businesses to become more resilient by implementing a Business Continuity Plan.

*Groundwork Merseyside’s time to deliver and administer the certified training courses is provided free of charge to SME’s on Merseyside. However, certification is charged by the examining body at £25.00 per person.
