Astmoor Improvements Update! |
|
The creation of a Business-led Steering Group for Astmoor is helping to create a better working environment for businesses located on the Estate.

Initial reports from businesses in the area suggest that the speed humps have been successful.
- The installation of new Street Nameplates and Advanced Direction signs are helping visitors to navigate their way round the Estate much more easily.
- New Bollards have been installed to protect vulnerable areas from un-authorised vehicular access.
- Speed-Activated Signs are to be installed soon at either end of Astmoor Road to help improve road safety.
- Rumble Strips have been laid on the approaches to the speed activated signs.
- Astmoor Website - www.astmoor.org.uk - enhancements to the website including a more improved ‘search’ facility by business sector will help to promote inter-trading between companies on the Estate.
- Environmental Crime – an email alert group has been established to report incidents of environmental crime such as fly-tipping.
