Halton has a busy Tourism and Promotions Team who organise and promote a full calendar of events across the Borough.
The Team also help to promote the activities of local tourism based businesses.These currently include; local hotel operators, bed and breakfast accommodation and an independent Canal Boat Hire company. In addition, the team aids a variety of museums and attractions, with promotion taking place through various mediums including the Tourist Information Centre.
The Tourism and Promotions Team also visit a variety of promotional venues such as the Great Days Out Fair or British Travel Trade Fair to bring business into Halton. These include organising Familiarisation trips for Coach and Tour operators.
